Bursting into Spring with Holi, the Festival of Colours

This amazing festival, begun in India, is now celebrated across the world and marks the arrival of Spring. Vibrant, festive and more than a bit messy, spectators and festival-goers alike are doused with coloured powders to dye them every colour under the sun.
